Chris Dukarski, PT is the owner of both OrthoWell Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy and WalkWell Foot Orthotics in Beverly,MA. He has over 25 years of experience treating all spinal and extremity orthopedic and sports conditions with an emphasis in comprehensive bio-mechanical evaluation and the fabrication of custom foot orthotics. He graduated summa cum laude from Wayne State University in 1990. He completed a one year residency program in Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 1996 with emphasis in the mobilization and manipulation of the spine and extremities. He trained directly with David Graston in his Indiana clinic. He has also become advanced certified in the Graston Technique. Chris is full-body certified in ART (Active Release Technique) for the Upper Extremity, Lower Extremity, and Spine. He has also become certified in an effective hands-on pain management technique called Pain Reflex Release Technique and has been trained in Total Motion Release. Chris performed an independent and comprehensive review of the literature on the conservative treatment of heel pain with intention to perform clinical research to validate his physical therapy treatment protocol for plantar fasciitis. He has attended dozens of the nation’s premier orthopedic, sports, and foot orthotic seminars and he continues to investigate orthotic, biomechanical, and treatment challenges through self-study and continuing education. Mark Johnson DPT, graduated from the University of New England with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Exercise Science in 2011, and earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of New England in2014. He also has earned his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialty license from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has practiced in the Hamilton-Wenham area and gained experience with a variety of orthopedic conditions. He also has experience in skilled nursing and rehabilitation settings working with patients in a more acute setting. He is passionate about career development with a focus on current evidence to drive patient care. During his undergraduate experience he ran competitive cross country at the University of New England and he continues to enjoy running, playing basketball, hiking, and fishing. He is excited to join the OrthoWell team and continue to grow as a physical therapist and continue to help people eliminate pain.
David Grams,DPT is the newest addition to our staff of physical therapists.
Dave graduated from MCPHS University, Boston campus in 2014 with his BS in Pre-Medical and Health Studies, then graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from MCPHS University, Worcester campus in 2016. Dave has a wide variety of clinical experience ranging from the skilled nursing setting to working with elite college and professional athletes. His clinical interests are in sport injury prevention, sport performance, as well as in manual therapies. Dave is passionate about using the latest evidence as well as unique treatment approaches to help his patients return to their daily activity without concern of pain. In his spare time, Dave is an MIAA umpire and has experience working Little League games, up to and including collegiate baseball. He is excited about his role on the OrthoWell team.
Christian Fabrizio is a 2014 graduate from Salem State University where he received a bachelors degree in Sport and Movement Science with a concentration in Exercise Science. He is also a certified Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Before joining the OrthoWell staff Christian gained three years experience working as an Exercise Specialist in multiple physical therapy practices as well as being a part time personal trainer for over five years. Christian applies his knowledge and experience from working in a physical therapy setting to help all his personal training clients live healthy and pain free lives. His clients range anywhere from athletes trying to get ready for a season to an older population trying to get stronger after a joint replacement. Trying to stay active himself, he is currently playing baseball for the Beverly Indians in the Commonwealth Amateur Baseball League.
