Physical Therapy

OrthoWell and WalkWell were established by Chris Dukarski, PT.  He has over two decades of experience treating all spinal and extremity orthopedic dysfunctions.  He graduated from Wayne State University in 1990.  He completed a one year residency program in Orthopedic Manual Therapy in 1996 with emphasis in the mobilization and manipulation of the spine and extremities.  He founded WalkWell Foot Orthotics in Beverly,MA in 1997.  He has been providing private biomechanical evaluations and fabricating custom foot orthotics for the past 12 years.  He trained directly with David Graston, the inventor of the Graston Technique for soft tissue mobilization, in his Indiana clinic and continues to use Graston’s latest instruments of assisted soft tissue mobilization.  Chris is full-body certified in ART (Active Release Technique) for the Upper Extremity, Lower Extremity, and Spine.  In 2008, Chris performed a comprehensive review of the literature on the conservative treatment of plantar fasciitis/plantar fasciosis.  His intention is to perform clinical research to validate his physical therapy treatment protocol for plantar fasciosis.  He has attended dozens of the nation’s premier orthopedic, sports, and orthotic seminars and he continues to investigate orthotic, biomechanical, and treatment challenges through self-study and continuing education. His passion for sharing his insights and educating his patients is evident in his blog postings. His enthusiasm and expert knowledge has enabled Chris to create a team of therapists that will maximize your results in minimum time.
