BIG changes at OrthoWell! How Will It Affect YOU?
We are embarking on a new journey at OrthoWell that we are really
excited about and I wanted to share it with you first!
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have been unable to hire
qualified physical therapists to provide you the quality of care that you
expect and deserve. Everybody asks: where have all the workers gone?
I wish I had an answer to that question. In addition, we continue to be
limited by the constraints placed upon us by the insurance industry.
Insurance reimbursement rates have certainly not kept up with the rate
of inflation and we are forced to accept these rates as an “in-network
provider”. We are obligated to bill for our services and to treat you in a
way that is not in YOUR best interest, but in the best interest of the
insurance company. This model of care is no longer a sustainable option
for us and one from which we have decided to partially depart.
As a result of this, we are going to be making some positive changes
starting in March to the way that we do business and to the way that we
provide care to YOU.
We are changing our model of care so that it allows us the time to
provide 60 minutes of one-on-one care with you. No other distractions.
No double booking. Just you and me or you and Ivan. This approach will
allow us the time to evaluate, treat and manage your care in the most
effective manner to truly get to the heart of your problem, provide you
longer lasting relief and to save you time and money. With this approach,
you won’t have to be treated as often to get the results that you expect.
We will also have the time to finally invest our skills in optimizing your
health and longevity through our strength and performance training
program. We are excited to show you how performance training is NOT
simply personal training. It is SO much more!
If you are looking for VIP service and want to get even more vested in
your health and longevity, we will be offering our Concierge PT program.
Read about it HERE. This will only be available to a limited number of
people and we wanted to let you know first.
The biggest change with this new model of care is that we will no longer
be accepting all of the insurances that we used to in order to cover your
physical therapy. If you are affected by this, you can still get 50-80% of
your services reimbursed if you have out-of-network physical therapy
coverage and you submit a “superbill” that we can provide. You can also
continue to use your Flex Benefit or Health Benefit cards for payment.
For those of you who only want our “magic hands”, Graston, cupping,
Active Release or dry needling, you will still be able to schedule 30
minute treatment sessions.
Of course, I will still be fabricating custom foot orthotics in both the
Beverly and Newburyport clinics.
We would love to show you how much MORE value there is to our
service when we have 60 minutes of one-on-one time with you. No
distractions. No double booking….
You’re gonna LOVE the attention!
I encourage you to check out our new website design at

the upcoming changes or to get first dibs on our Concierge PT program.
As always, the Best in Health to you and your family!
See you soon!
