We’re talking about Performance Based physical therapy. This is a cutting-edge approach to physical training that optimizes any activity that YOU want to perform?

Physical therapy has evolved away from setting simple goals….to optimizing functional performance during sports, recreation, work and home activities.

So How is OrthoWell Performance Training Different than Personal Training?

#1   You will train with a licensed physical therapist with a degree in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of pain and musculoskeletal disorders. Our first priority is to get to the source of your pain or problem to determine IF, WHAT & HOW you should be exercising. The last thing we want is for you to get injured doing something that you should NOT be doing.
#2   You have access to our skilled evaluation and treatment techniques during EVERY training session. If you need manual therapy to release stiff tissue before a session, then we will loosen it. If you are in pain, then we will find the source and alleviate it. You will get the best of performance training AND physical therapy at every one of your training sessions.

Components of the Training

Mobility Training- Why You Need It And How To Do It

Mobility

Soft tissue mobilizations can successfully reduce pain and loosen stiff tissue. Different techniques such as the ones included in our list of Services stimulate various sensory receptors and can positively impact your pain and freedom of movement. Self mobilization techniques and static & dynamic stretches will enhance these effects and will be used to improve overall flexibility.

Stability

The goal of stability training is to optimize neuromuscular control. We combine strength and stability exercises to retrain your nervous system and enhance your ability to sustain the loads that you place upon your body with daily activities and exercise. We address both static and dynamic stability with exercises progressing from simple to advanced drills that are tailored to your individual goals.

Champion Performance Training
