can curcumin have an effect on inflammation

For those of you curious about CURCUMIN’s effect on inflammation, check out the information below.

Men’s Health posted the article, “Is curcumin a cure-all?” in their 2022 September edition. They explore the claim, its accuracy and how it should be interpreted.

The claim is that curcumin can be used as an anti-inflammatory for muscle fatigue, heart disease and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Studies have found that there are anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties in curcumin. These properties can help reduce inflammation in IBS, muscle fatigue, heart disease and type 2 diabetes. However, how often you take the supplement and how much you take is the key to making it work.  It is recommended to look for a supplement with a 1000mg dosage that is dispensed from a company with a third party certification – such as NSF or informed choice. As always, talking to your doctor is always the first step, but if you begin to take the supplement regularly you may be able to start seeing its benefits.
