Running has become a popular way to exercise. As the number of runners has increased, so has running-related injuries. Running can have high impact forces on joints and muscles which can lead to injury.

What is one way you can lessen the impact forces to help prevent injury? Changing your cadence.

Cadence is known as your stride rate. Research has been found that increasing cadence can decrease impact forces to your body.
